Once again an amazing post, nice find!!!. Is the the first song written for/about Radburn ?? The second song is Louis Armstrong "That's my home" about his home in Georgia. One thing that always amazes me looking at old movies/photos., is the huge amount of trees and greenery that we have now, it was nice seeing the little baby London Planetrees by the tennis court. Here is another old film shot in F.L. by the Arcola mill in 1911. Copy and paste it in your browser. https://www.europeanfilmgateway.eu/detail/water%20lilies/eye::ebbdc357528517da24ca500310ac9d7a
The soundtrack is added: Ethel Water's 1929 recording of Irving Berlin's Waiting at the End of the Road and Louis Armstrong's That's My Home from 1933.
Good spot on the plane trees and thanks for the link!
Fantastic clip especially because this year is Fair Lawn's 100th anniversary celebration and people which had spent their childhoods growing up in Fair Lawn will love the history behind all of these clips and stories
Amazing find! Thank you for bringing this little film to light. It’s a pleasure to see how it encapsulates the life envisioned back at its founding which we still enjoy today.
Thx Alexander — that’s our hope.
